What is your most memorable moment?
My first big league game when I came up in '95. And also, about a week later, my first big league home run. I hit it off David Cone (July 8, 1995).

In my backyard hitting cage with my dad and brother


Jason Giambi

Jason Gilbert Giambi (born January 8, 1971, in West Covina, California).
Jason attended South Hills High School, where he was a three-sport standout. He batted .386 during his three years of varsity baseball, leading his team to the state finals as a senior. He was voted MVP in both baseball and basketball. In football, he was an All-League quarterback.
Giambi went on to play collegiate baseball at Long Beach State. He was a member of the fourth place United States national baseball team at the 1992 Olympics in Barcelona.
Giambi was drafted by the Oakland Athletics in the 2nd round in 1992.
He is nicknamed "The Giambino," "The Big G," and "The Dancing Bear." He was the American League Most Valuable Player Award 2000 while with the Oakland Athletics, and is a five-time All-Star, and won the 2001 and 2002 Silver Slugger award winner. At the 2002 All-Star Game Home Run Derby Jason walked away with the title.
