About Matt

Matt began inline skating with his family when he was 9 years old. He joined the pro tour at age 14 and has been traveling and competing around the world since 1994. Matt competed in the first 10 years of ESPN’s X Games, NBC’s Gravity Games, and many other notable international events and competitions. Lindy’s career highlights include: the 1998 ASA Pro Tour World Champion, 1999 X Games Bronze Medal, 2000 ASA Pro Tour World Champion for Best Trick, 2001 Gravity Games Bronze Medal, and current Guinness World Records for double back flips and triple back flips in the Vert Ramp. Matt is the first action sport athlete in the world to land a “Double Lindy”, a double back flip on the Vert Ramp and the only action sport athlete to land triple back flips on the Vert Ramp.

In 2003 Matt also began competing on the professional snowboard tour, making Matt one of only 3 athletes to compete in multiple sports in both summer and winter X Games and Gravity Games. Matt’s snowboard career highlights include: 2009 European Big Air Bronze Medal, 2009 European Slopestyle Bronze Medal, 2007 Progression Session Best Trick for a double back flip in the Superpipe, 2006 USA Nationals Bronze Medal in Superpipe.
