FAVORITE RACE:
My favorite race on a Mountain Bike is the Whiskey 50 in Prescott, AZ. My favorite race on Cyclocross is Starcrossed in Seattle, WA.

FAVORITE TRAINING RIDE:
I enjoy climbing Mt Elden and Sunset down the back side; two laps makes for a great day. (Flagstaff, AZ)

AVERAGE DAY CONSISTS OF:
I eat 2 waffles with peanut butter/jelly, 2 shots espresso, ride 2-3 hours, work and play Guitar Hero with my son. Then about 10 hours of sleep!

FAVORITE RACE FOOD:
PBJ and mashed potatoes in a water bottle (key for Leadville 100 at the top of Columbine at the turnaround)

IF YOU WEREN'T AN ATHLETE, WHAT WOULD YOU BE:
I would be a pianist at Nordstrom’s. My bikes and my baby grand piano are my prized possessions (after my kids and wife of course).
